Starting with campsites to cabins, houses, and a colonial style waterfront cottage – there is something for everyone at YWAM Tahlee. 

The campsite view is spectacular, no matter what time of the day, with group orientated campfire facilities and a private boat ramp. We recommend bringing your stand up paddle boards or kayaks to enjoy a quiet sunrise or stunning sunset as you explore the natural coastline. 

Campers are free to roam the property alongside native wildlife including kangaroos, and kookaburras with a regular view of dolphins on the shoreline. There is a private beach enclosed swimming area with tables for picnics. Tahlee is a place full of history with a rich heritage. There are various opportunities for a leisurely waterfront stroll to our historic boat harbour or a hike up the mountain at the back of our property.

FAQ's

What kind of accommodation options are there at YWAM Tahlee?

We have everything from campsites to pitch a tent,  bunk rooms, self contained units, houses and a stunning waterfront cottage. Check out our accomodation page for the full list of options.

How do I book a campsite or accommodation?

To book a campsite or accommodation, please send an e-mail to bookings@ywamtahlee.com and we will get in touch with you shortly.

Is there a Check-in and Check-out time?

To ensure that our cleaners are able to prepare accommodation for the next guests, check-in is usually from 2pm, and check-out at 10am. If you wish to have an early check-in or later check-out, please consult with our bookings administrator for availability.

Can we have a campfire?

We have two designated campfire areas that our guests are welcome to use whenever RFS restrictions allow it. When possible, we try to provide firewood, but we recommend bringing your own wood if you want to be certain.

Am I allowed to bring my pet?

YWAM Tahlee is home to native wildlife including kangaroos, goannas, and koalas. In the best interest of our wildlife we ask that you refrain from bringing any pets with you. Please speak to our management team for for medical assistance  animals such as guide dogs.

What are the facilities at the campground?

We provide powered and unpowered sites, all with access to the amenities, the laundry and the picnic & BBQ area, as well as any other facilities on site. Each campsite is about 6x8m, providing plenty of space for a camper or large tent.

Do we have to bring our own water?

You do not need to bring your own water. We have rainwater and chlorine treated damwater for all guests to use.

Is there a waste dump point for my caravan/trailer?

We do not have a waste dump point at our campsite. We do provide access to our amenities, so that you can keep water usage in your trailer to a minimum.

What accommodation is best for me?

Please contact our bookings administrator at bookings@ywamtahlee.com to discuss options and we will help you find which accommodation is most suited to your needs.

Is linen provided with accommodation?

Linen is not provided onsite, with exception to our waterfront cottage.

Do you take bookings for larger groups?

We take bookings for small and large groups. At this time, our site is able to accommodate groups up to ~150 people.
